Gerry Goldstein Featured in Texas Lawyer
San Antonio lawyer Gerry Goldstein is known around the world for his aggressive representation and his high-profile clients. In the April 24th, 1989 edition of Texas Lawyer, the publication noted the famous attorney still is changing the criminal justice system in his own city.
Goldstein graduated from the University of Texas law school in 1968 after doing undergraduate work at Tulane University in New Orleans. He started practicing corporate law with his father at the firm Levey & Goldstein, but soon the 20-something realized he would prefer representing friends who dodged the draft.
Goldstein has made a career out of practicing civil rights law and serves as the counsel for the Texas Civil Liberties Union. However, what sets him apart from other attorneys is his number of complex pro bono cases.
