TACDL President Cynthia Orr Said Drug Interdiction Needs to Get Serious
Attorney Cynthia Orr, president of the Texas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, said the country needs to change its methods of tackling the war on drugs.
In the January/February 2004 issue of Voice for the Defense, a TACDL publication, Orr said the most effective way to end the flow of illicit drugs into the country is to make it less profitable. However, some states, including Texas, have no found a functioning system.
