Alexis “Lexie” Biedrzycki joined Goldstein & Orr as an associate in 2024, bringing a strong foundation in criminal justice and a deep commitment to defending individual rights.

A cum laude graduate of Saint Edward’s University, Alexis earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2020. Her academic achievements and dedication to criminal justice reform were recognized when she was named the 2019-2020 Most Outstanding Student in Criminal Justice by the School of Behavioral & Social Sciences.

Before pursuing her legal education, Alexis gained valuable, hands-on experience in the legal field as a Legal Assistant at the Austin Community Law Center, a non-profit law firm in Austin, Texas, and as a Digital Reporter, producing certified transcripts for hundreds of cases while deepening her knowledge of courtroom operations.

While attending Saint Mary’s University School of Law, Alexis actively contributed to the legal community as a board member of the Criminal Law Association and as a Student Attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic, where she represented indigent clients. During her second year, she began clerking for Goldstein & Orr in 2023, assisting in intricate criminal cases and honing her skills in strategic defense.

Now an Associate Attorney at Goldstein & Orr, Alexis specializes in state and federal criminal defense, with a developing expertise in appeals and writs. From misdemeanors to felony cases, she is dedicated to delivering strategic and thorough representation. Known for her attention to detail and steadfast advocacy, Alexis continues to build on the firm’s tradition of excellence in defending clients and safeguarding their rights.
